MIDDLESEX PUBLIC PARKS
The Town of Middlesex owns and maintains two Middlesex Public Parks for use by its citizens and neighboring residents, one on West Hanes Avenue and one on S. Nash Street (NC 231 South). You may reserve the picnic shelters of the parks for special events or activities. Reservations forms are available at the town hall located at 10232 S. Nash Street with a valid picture ID. All park visitors must abide by town rules and regulations. The parks are open from dusk until dawn. Reservations will not be accepted for commercial or for-profit activities nor shall these activities be allowed in any area of the park. No alcoholic beverages are allowed in the parks. Outside rides and/or inflatable rides will be allowed with the proof of a $1,000,000 Liability Insurance Policy and the signing of a Hold Harmless Agreement to the Town of Middlesex. The Town of Middlesex and the Town of Bailey jointly own the Bailey-Middlesex Park located 8104 Stoney Hill Church Road. The first phase of the park is complete with a walking track, a play station for kids, two multipurpose ball fields, sand volleyball court, and a building with bathrooms and concessions. Nash County Parks and Recreation maintains this park and schedules all events and the number is 252-462-2628. Hours of operation are from 8:00 am until dusk, weather permitting.
